I am a fourth-year PhD student in Cognitive Science in the Cognitive Science & Pragmatics group, working with Michael Franke. I am excited about understanding pragmatic, goal-directed language generation and interpretation, both in humans and machines. My work combines (large) language models, human experimental research and probabilistic modeling. I have been working on relevant question answering, assessing language models on various pragmatic phenomena, and on bridging computational cognitive models and language models in order to study language use in humans and machines.
I am passionate about teaching and building the Cognitive Science community, so I have helped organize several events.
I also spent a few months as an AI Research intern at Aleph Alpha Research GmbH.
